DukeUndergraduate Admissions

Large Group Tours

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is thrilled to hear about your interest in bringing a group to campus.

Please review available dates and times (in green) to request a student-led walking tour of West Campus. Advance registration is required to reserve a place. We encourage you to register at least three weeks in advance of your visit. (Once you select your date, scroll to the bottom of the page to complete and submit the form.)

In order for us to accommodate your request for a Group Tour, please review our policies:

  • We are able to accommodate school and non-profit groups who work with high school students.
    • If your group is not a high school, community based organization, or education non-profit you are welcome to visit campus on your own and take a self-guided tour. If you are part of a group and would like to arrange a self-guided tour, please contact David Sakyi.
  • Groups must have between 10 and 50 high school students.
  • Groups must be accompanied by chaperones. At least one chaperone is necessary for every 15 students.
  • All Group Tours are conducted in English, and we are unable to provide translators.
  • Complete and submit the Group Tour request form at least 3 weeks in advance of your desired date for an information session and tour.
  • Visiting groups that arrive more than 15 minutes late cannot be guaranteed a tour.
  • Buses and over-sized vehicles should park in the Sarah P Duke Gardens lot
  • Duke University is not associated with any organizations that promote for-profit campus tours. All official Duke University campus tours are conducted free of charge.
  • We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all Group Tour requests.
  • If you have additional questions, please contact David Sakyi.

We will make every effort to honor every request made. Due to high demand, we may be unable to accommodate your request. Please do not make travel arrangements until we confirm your Group Tour.

We are unable to enter a residence hall for privacy and safety reasons. View photos of Duke student rooms on East Campus.
